SS Custom Made
« on: November 27, 2009, 11:27:49 AM »

Got an SS Custom Made which arrived today. I gave some pretty loose specifications and was happy with what I got back. The bat is a SH and weighs a touch under 2 Lb 8 oz.

Was this custom made or did they choose a bat from their stock that suited your spec?

From the sticker on the back I guess it's from http://nitrocricket.com.au/ or Windmill runs that site perhaps?

I do indeed run that site, but it requires a revamp which I just haven't had the time for. The focus has moved more towards Indoor Cricket equipment.

The bat was custom made for me and actually weighs 2 Lb 8 oz, contrary to my previous post.

The price isn't really something I can discuss. Probably fairly expensive by English standards though.

I am assuming it would have been £200+
But I guess a few of us like the looks of it, and were interested on how much a fine piece of willow like that would cost!
