@WalkingWicket37 you remain a tit.

Those pads are on just right and you know it!

There wrong!!

Nothing worse than the overhang of the straps  hitting each other while tryin to bat and or run!!

Fold it over you say? If there's more than an inch, it gets in the way constantly.

@WalkingWicket37 you remain a tit.  Couldn't agree more Buzzby

Those pads are on just right and you know it! This I cannot agree with, they're definitely on the wrong way round! (And it looks like people agree with me on this too)

Strap ends are apart every time I put pads on, can't stand the excess hitting each other if they are to the inside!

You seeing this, @Buzz?
Clearly everyone except you (and Alex Hales) wears their pads the wrong right way round!  :D

Never had a problem with an extra inch.

Pads are designed to be worn with buckles on the outside  , you wouldn't want to be given out caught behind off that extra inch of strap which is what would happen if they were the other way around.

The buckle is more likely to sound hard and bat like than a bit of Velcro.

Just been through our clubs picture drop box account.

400 photos, and not one of our or opposition players agrees with you buzz.

Straps to the outside!!

Kookaburra pads (top end ones anyway) have an extra cane on the front leg, which has the plastic buckles on the outside.  Amazes me how many people miss this!

If you have you pad on properly the straps will be behind your leg and you would get in a bonkers position to get hit on the buckles.

I think you'll find that if you take a look at Tendulkar he wears buckles on the inside

I've had a quick look through the club gallery, and I think these screenshots answer the question really...

So that's 11 people who wear their pads the right way round.

And just to keep Buzz happy I found someone who wears them the wrong way round.

Wandering a bit more off the topic (I see that the discussion is not on the subject anymore), just wanted to check if these pads are available nowadays. It took me a lot of web-browsing & emails to get hold of a pair of Pumas from India a few months back. Whomever I contacted told me that these models are not made now (3 strap versions).

The pads pictured were made by Funky, I think the model was F-Lite.
I don't think they make them any more though, so they may be difficult to track down
