It's nice of CA to put the BAS stamps on Hashim's bats for him as well as the stickers!  ;)

Stamps some players have the equipment to get stamps on bats trust me on that.

Not saying it not a BAS just stamps are not a guarantee.

Nice profile though I really like Bas bats

@skip1973 Any links to the new ranges that you've been seeing?
I'm particularly interested in the new Gray Nics 2016 Aus range...
No I only have a hard copy catalogue at the moment.

Like I said @WalkingWicket37 I read it somewhere on the forum, can't find it now, but I didn't know how true it was.

I bowled to him in the nets at the Ageas Bowl and he was using a CA. At the time the stamp wasn't covered but before the game it was.  CA (and BAS infact) have a big offering is SA.

I would guess, like most pro's, he probably get a host of bats from various sources.

Don't know how true it is, but I read somewhere on the forum some time ago that AB used CA bats along with Hashim....

@WalkingWicket37

Apparently they did when South Africa toured Australia where Faf scored century in Adelaide. In that series..

In the post that I read, it was also the England vs South African series...

This is what I imagine happens with increasing frequency...

Brand: "here's our bats, take your pick..."
Player/agent: "er, actually I've been using these for years and like the option of picking up bats locally when touring abroad..."
Brand: "ok, here's a few sets of stickers..."

Amla wasn't using a Bas today, had the edge stamps covered with tape. Either a CA or TON

Yes, agreed! The bat shape looked like a CA.
