Just had an email saying that my order has been cancelled as now out of stock.
It was a bargain I suppose, but feel that from a customer relations point of view, they've shot themselves in the foot.
Should have a better way to monitor stock control through their website, and shouldn't take 10 days from date of order to work out no stock!

They emailed me with an amended order showing only 3 of my 7 items. This came to £3.60 and then £4.17 for delivery. I have asked them to reconsider the delivery charge given the order was supposed to be dispatched 24 hours after purchase and delivered 48 hours after that = 3 days. It's been nearly 2 weeks since my order so they have failed to deliver in the agreed timescales. Not expecting much but it is taking the micky to still charge for delivery.

I've still heard nothing!
I'm expecting nothing now, but some sort of communication would be nice...

I've had a couple of bits missing but the rest is still there to be sent, allegedly.

I think it's taking the micky to ask for free postage when they're essentially giving them away! If you were paying full price then fair enough, but you're getting at least a 90% discount on pretty much everything, you'll want them to come round and wash your car next!

Sorry worded that incorrectly - should of been charge as much for delivery. What I actually said to them was to reconsider the postage costs, I wasn't expecting it free. The cost of delivery assumes a certain level of service, which clearly hasn't been met. The cost of the item is irrelevant, they would charge the same delivery costs whether the item was full price or not.

That's fair enough then I guess. Sorry I jumped down your throat there, just thought you weren't happy with the savings you were already getting!   :-[

Well I'm expecting them to tell me to get stuffed, so I will either have to pay full postage or not. I'm just annoyed that I will be paying for a 48 hour service but getting a 2 week service!

ok - spoke to the Surridge guy and he wasn't going to reduce the delivery costs but was happy for me to replace my missing items from a revised stock list. I have added it to my google drive if anybody wants to see what is left as of today:-

Question is are they the right size? Some items are in multiply sizes and others appear individually by size. Also noticed a few items that don't appear on the website, SUR206 is a cricket jumper for £1.50 etc etc . I googled the code to find out what it is. This sale appears to essentially be a stock clearance in it's intended form, not the hyped up sales that are common place. Lots of bits and pieces, previous clients discarded stock and lots of odd sizes. Some of the stuff I imagine is very nice kit if you don't mind people asking you if you are from Clyde FC or Southampton Sports Sciences.

I've almost just given up and am going to have to find something else.
