Puma Chromium 5000 Elite
« on: March 16, 2015, 07:19:35 PM »

Took a chance with pro-direct's clearance pricing and ordered Puma Chromium 5000 Elite
Only Light option was available
Received this bat last week and i am just loving it

Weight is 2-9.1,  Clean willow with 11 straight grains , Big profile around 40 mm edges (haven't measured )
The pickup is good for a low profile bat. It has a nice ping with long middle, made in India with the handle being slight oval at the bottom.
Here are the pics :)

Looks like they still have these bats in stock. I'll say go for it if you want a quality bat at a bargain

Looks to be great piece of willow in terms of grains. How does it ping?

To me, it doesn't matter how good you are. Sport is all about playing and competing. Whatever you do in cricket and in sport, enjoy it, be positive and try to win.

Pings nice. Does need knocking as there are seam marks left on the face by bouncing the ball on it. i think once fully knocked this can become a top quality bat.
