Bat Pressing
« on: March 17, 2015, 01:14:48 PM »

Can anyone help?  Just made a bat with a friend, but we need to press it. The good people at Gray Nicolls could'nt help because we have already shaped the back, they suggested trying here. We are from Sussex, but will travel anywhere to someone who can help.

phone newbery to see if they can help

Failing that Hell4Leather Matt may be able to help, he is in Kent so not far from you. Most of the other sponsors on here are a bit of a trek for you...

You could go very old school. Either hit the bat loads of times with a mallet or ball or just throw each other MANY balls in the nets. Satisfaction will be there because you did yourselvrs :)

Didn't somebody post a way of manually knocking a bat in using a hammer?

I'm in bunbury WA,  almost finished my first bat...  Could do with some help in the pressing dept...  How can I get in touch.  I am spewing I missed your talk at Dalyellup college a month or so ago...  Was kicking myself when Knuckey told me...
