Best grip applicator

Other than the conventional bat grip cone, just wondering what 'easy to use' devices are other there?

The GM suction grip applicator is the other obvious one. Is it any good? At circa £20+ is worth getting one?

Me too - however, unlike some on here, I got on great with the Kwikgrip applicator, I've used one for years (both in and out of the shower).

My GM pump broke.  It also did not work with certain types of grips. I am back to using a wooden grip cone.

It's unbelievable that we can send people to the moon, watch HD videos live on our phones, and yet no-one has come up with something easier than a cone for applying grips.

Nobody tried one of these?

Can't see anywhere that sells them in the Uk, but the retail at around 40 in NZ and Oz, I'd pay 15-20 quid for that, save a lot of messing about to get the grip in the right place, only issue is if it works when it's not the bottom grip though!

The old carrier bag trick works wonders if you get it right. If you don't it becomes one of the most frustrating things you're ever likely to attempt to do.

Must say this does look good. But, the old cone wins out for me. If you use good quality grips it only takes a minute to position it correctly. Cheap grips take a little longer.

That squid grip looks a good idea, although the video is from 2007, are/were they any good as I've never seen or heard of them b4.

Anyone struggle with spiral grips? I seem to stretch mine and they are never the same after.

Squid grip looks good, everything discussed is unnecessary though.

Never had an issue with my trusty old cone, can fit a grip pretty much perfectly in about 30 seconds. Any type of grip, and within reason any number too. My record is 6, the last two being a bit of struggle!

Bit of practice, elbow grease and a willingness to learn from errors (i see lads using the same grip cone technique over and over and wondering why it continues not to work) and a grip cone is a very easy tool to master.

I always end up with too much grip at the bottom folded over when using a cone. What am I doing wrong? Wife and kids have learnt pretty quickly to leave the room if I'm trying to put a new grip on my bat, doesn't take long for my bottom lip to go and things getting thrown!
