I'll be a bit late tomorrow, about 8 / 8.15, my missus has just told me that she is going to Step so I have to wait for her to get home.

Is that because you don't want to face my bowling again Dave? [emoji14]

Great nets this evening but I was absolutely jiggered afterwards. My stumps also got a good work out but fortunately I won't be facing Andy or the 2 lads from Derby anytime soon on a Saturday.

It was good to meet you Steve.  Your SS looked really good, very tempted to get one now.

I enjoyed the net nice to face some different bowlers (I think).

Thanks to Andy for organising it, maybe next time we can sort something outside

I have been speaking to a friend of mine from Leeds who this season has taken over running a Leeds side called Cambridge Methodists and they are on the look out for new players for their Sunday side.

The standard of opposition varies but they have a tough match coming up a week on Sunday (3rd May) against Yorkshire Gents at Escrick Park (just off the A19 between York and Selby). It's all day game with a cooked lunch and sandwiches at tea.

They've already got some good cricketers amongst their ranks but the skipper is looking to further strengthen the team and asked me if had any suggestions. Therefore I am wondering if those who attended the DotBall nets would be interested in playing some fixtures? In fairness the skipper did not set the bar too high, he just said just make sure they are better than you !!

To check out their fixtures for 2015 see the following website. http://cambridgemethodists.play-cricket.com/
