As it happens, I don't think it'd make any difference if you use two grips. Only if you use one

I've always used two grips and the bottom one gradually moves, so I use it to secure the bottom one and then use a bit more between grips just in case.

And that works ok @CalverKeeper ?

Hasn't moved at all so can't complain. I spend at least an hour a week batting (I really should be better) so it gets pretty well tested.

Yeah you should be able to pick up a 10mtr roll of self amalgamating tape for around a fiver for half decent stuff, grip grip is about £8 for a considerably smaller roll! As far as I can tell it is exactly the same stuff, certainly works using the same principle anyways (rubber on rubber)

Good call on the amalgamating tape. I popped out and got some from Toolstation for £3.45, applied to the handles of the size 1 and size 4 and now the grips fit snugly.
Now the bottom handed biffers at the club shall suffer grip creep no more.

£3.99 for a 10m roll from ScrewFix, worth a punt I think

£3.99? Bloody ScrewFix, looks like I'll have to shave a pound or so off my price haha! Hard work being an independent wholesaler!!

I finally got my grip grip delivered, Just as you guys mentioned in the above posts its nothing but a self-amalgamating tape ???. I did put the Grip grip on the bats and have used it in Nets. Its worked fine, but its way cheaper to get the self-amalgamating tape than the Grip Grip for sure.

Got that Screwfix Amalgamating tape and it looks like GripGrip but since I've not bought any myself I can't compare. Have put it on both mine and my brothers bats so we'll see how it goes, a bargain if it works!

I got the amalgamating tape off eBay. £1 for a metre roll delivered
I used to glue/tape adjust grips constantly , but the tapes held no bother

Makes you wonder if they are just re-packaging it and adding a huge markup.
