Afternoon all,

Just thought I'd see whether there are any Bristol based players out there who fancy a very casual game this summer. We're a Sunday side that mainly plays friendlies, we've 18 or so fixtures arranged both home and away, against Bristol and Wiltshire League sides and others of similar abilities. First game on April 26th.

Absolutely no playing experience necessary! It's all about the taking part for us.

Might be keen for the occasional game depending on how my lot run the selection for our Sundays this year as we've had a few changes, always nice to play with a few new people. Whereabouts in Bristol are you?

We've just dropped down to Sunday Prem 2 as we were playing against too many overseas pros etc on a Sunday last year and our squad has dropped drastically over the last few years meaning getting 11 players is a struggle on a Sunday.

Our top div is trying to allow overseas this year, although I'd personally prefer it as it's harder.. Sunday's are to give others a go and they'll just stop,playing if an overseas just smashes them or gets them out every week easily. Depends what you think Sunday's are for I suppose

Ive no issue with it on a Saturday but we worked our way up from North Somerset Div 5 when we entered the league to eventually end up in Prem 1 but we were massively out of our depth when getting carted to all parts. Sadly our team has lost a few players and with playing 50 over cricket on a Sat enthusiasm for highly competitive Sunday cricket has wavered as its usually attended with a hangover!

I could be interested in the odd Sunday if needed, dependant on location.
I'm based in west Somerset so if it's close enough.
I'm not the best but I'd like to think I could do a job.

We're only a pub side, CPSCC based in Cotham but playing at Lodway CC in Pill.

We've been going for about 50 years and play some fairly handy teams with some success so we can be competitive on our day.
