My missus is a nurse so the syringes are free courtesy of the NHS.

There is a small piece missing on the outside edge about 5mm wide, 15mm long and 3mm deep. Apart from that perfect. I still use it regularly in Sunday matches. Got nets tonight. I will add better photos tonight

A bat that'looks like that over time over time tells me that the bat was made from quality willow as all bats should eventually look like that.

No worries. It was my first and until last season my only SH bat. It cost my dad �99 in 1990. It was an expensive bat at the time. Though you can see that the grains are a little wavy.
