SS Reserve
« on: May 05, 2015, 04:12:39 PM »

Reached out to Vinay at VKS few weeks back asking for a light weight reserve in full profile. He had received new stock and sent out couple of pictures to look at and decide. After a week i have received this bat and i am really impressed as how the bat pings, feels in hand. Specs are 2.8.9 has 38mm edges not sure of the spine. It feels as if its 2.7 very light and awesome balance. it has 13 grains and full profile with Duck bill Toe.

Excellent customer service by Vinay, he did respond to every single email i sent without any issues. I have also brought Salix Pod finite and Grade one, i will write separate review of those this week.

Lovely looking stick that bud.

Being the tart I am I'd want one with a TON stamp on the back rather than a VKS sticker where it should be  :-[

@WalkingWicket37 true and i dont mind having VKS sticker there too atleast their sticker is better than TON stamp which spreads all over the bat during oiling .

@ursmasti is that not the new burnt branding rather than the sharpie style stamps they used to use?
If so they don't smudge at all like they used to (at least mine didn't anyway)

@WalkingWicket37 it looks like new style what you said ... VKS has knocked in the bat for me so i didnt see the smudge as of now and hope it remains the same in future too.

Gorgeous bat, looks a great profile. What's the reason for the smaller width back sticker? Looks odd compared to the normal width stickers.

Looks a cracking bat mate. Iv been very impressed with my Legacy elite when netting with it, performance seems to be very good from Sareen bats for the first time of using them.
