That looks an interesting read
Will have a look for a copy
Second season at a new club, and I've only just worked out I can't reach the straight boundary through slogging alone, I need quite a bit of pace on the ball to generate the distance,(65m) to clear the rope.
I'm talking about flat batting/slogging the slower bowlers, anything medium or above I'm comfortable driving that distance.
I know I probably shouldn't be looking to play these shots, but hey ho.  I only work in fours or sixes

What I will do is show the section on power hitting, in the interests of promoting the book for the authors and I'm not showing anymore pages - you have to buy it! If any Admin think this is too much, feel free to delete.

Hmm
Leaning back and lifting your head, big no no,s in most sporting shots
Easier said than done tho.
I've changed bats this season too, gone from my long handled Toro, to a traditional styled bat, and I've noticed I'm hitting the ball higher up the bat?
