As I have asked already (but deleted) , are these SS stickers real ?

Have SS dropped the name Sunridges as they refer to themselves on their very own website ?

The net session confirmed in my mind that this bat I have (ie particular SS Limited Edition) is one hell of a bat. I got the spec of LB/LH etc etc I wanted and that was the first step. Now the performance of willow on leather shown in the nets is as good as it gets for me. It is a pretty big bat and has a big sweet spot/area to match. Maybe that's why Kieron Pollard uses one? (He may not use a SS Limited Edition but the stickering looks a little alike?) You can really feel the ball compress into the face of the blade when you hit the ball and that feel is impressive. It's a bit like your mind appreciating the feel of your golf club hitting a ballata golf ball vs a cheap one. (Maybe that's not such a great analogy?). Anyway, it now has me asking a few questions about the other bats I've used/own. I wanted performance and I've got it from a AUD250 bat. First match is this Sunday if the weather holds out.

Came in at No.7 needing 30 or so to win with 15 or so overs to go. Hit a straight drive for 4 second ball
(just played through the line without much power) and then moved on to 10 with singles and twos in the next 4 overs (didn't get much strike). Unfortunately got given out caught by the keeper with the ball going down legside nicking off the outside of my left front pad. Oh well, ..... that's criket. Won the game. The bloke who batted No. 4 for our XI used it and hit 28 and is going to buy one. He needs a new bat and what I have fits the bill perfectly.
