i really dont understand why they always blame the bat.

there are so many other reasons for higher runs, small grounds, 2 new balls, fitter players, change in attitude.

Putting the boundary on the fence itself like it used to be might be a good idea, if they want to take on long on or deep mid wicket (or any fielder out on the boundary) then make them work for it. Reverting back to using one ball and trying to figure out how to stop the ball losing so much colour or just changing back to a "new" ball at 34 overs would also give the bowlers some help. This whole two balls at once thing is just absurd.

Once again another article with no detail or even a guess at what a bat reduction would look like. Would it be a specification of the maximum, edge size, spine height, bow, for the finished bat or a specification of the cleft dimensions so bat makers could still design their own bats.

Maybe they should set the maximum amount of gym sessions?

I watched many of the world cup games and they were pretty good viewing to me.
