He has worked with Farbrace before and looks a good appointment.
If this is the cricket we are going to play(lords), things are looking up

Mentioned on sky sports just now.

Exclusive interviewing with one preferred candidate. Believed to be Bayliss.

Lot more experience than Moores.

Sounds good in my opinion. Nice left field appointment but backed up with success. Shame we went with Moores last time round.

According to the various sources, Bayliss was high on the list last time around as well, but couldn't agree contractual terms... Makes you wonder whether Moores was sloppy (cheap) seconds.

sounds like Bayliss is the type to have a beer rather than get a graph out and work out how that would affect performance... could be just what we need

seriously Moores was a decent coach, I think the press latched onto the stats and used it against him.

But this guy is more into one day cricket and that's an area we need a total rethink and probably why he got the job

but a coach that is more in the background and let's the players get on with it could be just the ticket
the players have to take responsibility-it's the only way
sounds good.

Stats are like bikini's, they show you lots of stuff but don't reveal everything.

Confirmed http://www.ecb.co.uk/news/articles/ecb-names-trevor-bayliss-englands-new-head-coach

What a surprise, are the ECB capable of not leaking anything before its announced?

Should be a good appointment. Going on his previous success the odi and t20 might get equal footing with test matches. Hopefully make them more exciting to watch as well

Don't know much about him but I liked his radio idea!

Some of the Aussie media are saying he is a very good choice for coach. What's his radio idea?
