Where do I stand?

For Christmas I decided to splash out and treat myself to a new gray nicolls f18 test, it cost me around £400
I knocked it in for about 5 hours, oiled it, and played it in over winter nets, a few light surface cracks appeared but nothing that caused concern
Iv now used the bat In 3 games, not stuck around long enough to make use of it
In my last game I dug out a full ish delivery, upon inspection Iv found that the toe is cracked from face, to back, and to the edge on the right handers inside edge.
I'm pretty disappointed concidering the price I paid and the fact it's hardly been used, I'm not sure what I could do about. I bought the bat from a local retailer who I have bought 3/4
Bats and numerous softs from.
Im hoping it'll be a simple case of getting a replacement however I don't know how people have got on with this in the past.

I don't think yorkers are covered in a bat warranty. Bat edges and toe are the weakest part of the new bat and require extra attention when knocking.

Without seeing the damage, I can't say whether its repairable or not. I suggest you post a picture. Forumites are handy with repairs and can give you good advice.

Depends on the retailer you got it from I suppose. Given that its not that old and hardly used I'd imagine a replacement may be on the cards. Especially from people such as GN, I think you should at least get offered a free repair.

Most suppliers will at least send it off to GN who will replace or fix. Is definitely take it back but I wouldn't think the turnaround time will be that quick.

Most likely outcome is that  you will be offerred a free repair.
