Burning Designs onto BAts
« on: May 25, 2015, 09:53:19 PM »

Hello All

I wonder does anyone have any experience of burning designs onto bats, I have a Blank bat and want to burn a design intot he the front where the sticker would have been with a Pyrography Kit.
I would love to know if anyone has done this and how the wood / cane in the splice re acts ( is the design clear , that sort of thing .
Any help gratefully received

Laver and Wood made one. Might pay to look back through their FB page.

Could you print the design out, stick it to the bat then use it as a template then free hand it with the kit?

Not sure if that would work, but worth a try.
