B3 some CROWN Clefts and a few 2 stripe clefts

Well i went down to H today and decided to take a look at a few clefts they where processing a few 3 stripes so left them too it i then had a look at 2 stripe and a few crown which we have hidden in the back!!!

I hope you like the pictures if there anything we can help you with please do get in touch i saw the lowest density i have seen at 340 which is just amazing.


A few 2 stripe quality clefts a random selection.




Now some lovely crowns light as it gets and the lightest i have seen at 340..

My personal favourite not everybody cup of team i understand but as pro are using 50/50 and i'm using heartwood currently

and a few random pictures of crown in the back store sorry if this bores people we have currently around 300-500 clefts in just thought i'd show them off including a new batch recently and quite a few waiting to be processed.

Some tasty looking willow there.

I know this has been said before, but I have had trouble finding it.  If I was after a Trott profile - 1271 - or whatever it is, at around the 2:11-2:12 mark, what sort of cleft weight would I be looking at?

Joel No bother it at 2-15 and a half at 400 so for 2-12 you would need 365.

Some of this crown will not hang around long  ;)

That's 257 is a bit tasty David, shame I don't have £500 lying around!

If your in the UK it is £500 and if your abroad of course we are vat registered....

Expensive i know but it is rare williow in terms of density if you like big bats in lower weights as i said it not for everybody why we can get some lighter wood in lower density but this is very limited and tends not to hang around long at all.

I presume any willow to get 2:12ish on the Trott profile will automatically be crown willow then?

Some are oversized clefts and some are standard clefts mate.

You can get a bigger edge and bigger spine on a oversized cleft pal

@procricket B3 sorted me out with a low grade 363 so you can get them, just have your card at the ready.

This is my low grade, low density cleft. Thing is huge for 2.6.8 - in the 'Tonto' shape
