Renegade Charger
« on: June 05, 2015, 05:30:34 PM »

This is my first purchase of Non-Popular Brand Cricket bat ( referring to GN, GM, Laver ...etc). Bat has been purchased from Procricshop in USA , CA. Here is my initial thoughts about this new bat

Specs

Weight : 2.9
Grains: 9 straight evenly spaced
Handle : SH and semi -oval at the bottom
Profile : Full
Edge size : 35mm
Sweet-spot : Low to Mid

Feel and Balance:

Feel and Balance is excellent on the bat , doesn't feel like 2.9 i would say around 2.8 or a bit less than 2.8 . Even though the sweet spot is low to mid middle its very well balanced.

Ping :

Ping is something which i really look at when i buy a bat and this is up there with all the Top grade 1 willow , ping excellent and its not Hard pressed but softly pressed. Would need atleast 4hrs of knocking in.

Stickers:

Black and Yellow theme stickers are my favorite , they look stunning in flesh and embossed.

Bat Cover:

Comes with really nice padded full length bat cover ,bat cover itself for sure would cost 20-30 pounds for the quality.

I will let you guys see the pictures and talk .

Suggestion:

I would ask the Procric to concentrate more on finishing of the bat, i am not saying finishing is bat but there is room for improvement and also i would like to see all my bats have Toe guard .

Have you been letting a dog use the toe as a chew toy?
