BDM bat
« on: June 15, 2015, 12:47:43 PM »

Wanted to share pics of this new BDM i got for local team player
Haven't tried BDM bats for a long time but their facebook pics and videos by eclipseallsports look really good.
Was surprised that BDM is responding to FB messages
Got in touch with aditya mahajan and he sent some pics

Here are the pics of the bat that i selected
Its 2-8.7 , 40 mm edges , full profile, great pickup and very nice ping
Willow is clean with 11 straight grains
Got the bat with minimal stickers
The pickup is really good
Pics are not that clear as bat still has the shrink wrap.
BDM does make some real good bats but i think they need to improve their marketing/branding

Lovely bat there Amit. I agree they make superb bats and may need marketing/pr to get the name out. And perhaps a bit more focus on decals to make it stand out among crowded asian brands.

Yes nice Bat used to see  quite a few BDMs and the ball used to fly of the face but I think they became less popular in more recent times

Indeed BDM is replying to personal messages. I am looking for a bat for myself and they sent me pics of couple of bats. The price they told me  is a bit high than your bat though. Does this profile has any specific name?

Bdm guy gave me a few options ..some we around 200 GBP but then he showed this one and it looked equally good. Their top end bat is Game and that is around 300 GBP.

Based on my purchase I'll say go for BDM , quality bat for the price.

For the moment I am divided between SS limited edition ( 155 posted) and BDM (around 180 posted). Any suggestions?

No doubt SS are making lovely bats this year. Tough choice..depends upon profile , willow quality etc. Go for a Fuller profile.
Make sure you buy from reliable source.

I bought a BDM dynamic last year (sold to me as being extra big for the weight). It looked lovely. It also had a sweet spot the size of dried pea.

Not saying they are all like that, just my experience.

I agree, all depend on grains, weight, size, profile and of course price. Can't go wrong with either
