Spyder cricket bats?
« on: June 17, 2015, 01:13:27 PM »

Hi all.

Does anyone know anything about this brand? Can't seem to find much info on them. On of my teammates has asked me about them and for once I'm in the dark. Any help would be appreciated...

Some of the very best bats, imported from India. Magnificent bats.

Seem to recall reading that  the bats are made in Nottingham and they have an outlet in Congleton Stoke on Trent. Few years ago I think they made MS Doni a bat.
Have also read posts on here regarding the brand.
Run by a guy called Gary  used to Sponser Kevin obrian i think.

Not made in Nottingham at all.

Good chap is Gary  i have in the past had a couple off him nice bats

Gary knows Dhoni and a few others including Albie Mork through club cricket when pro where proper Pro's.

Now I am a bit confused as just watch a video stating Spyder bats made by Nottingham based manufacturing company.

Well unless gm starts making his bats which I doubt as they to my knowledge don't make for others.

Look at his Facebook plastic wrap might be a clue

Unless Frenchy makes some but I know majority if not all are from India,

Please share the video

No  dave
wasn't implying you made them as I know you weren't around in 2009.
Also wasn't implying it was GM just stating what is written and stated by the presenter in the video.
Here's the link   www.ndtv.com/video/player/news

All my gear is from spyder and its great. Gary is also a top bloke. Almost 100% sure all his bats are made in India though.
