yes mate they are called hammer edge....

http://www.morrant.com/cricket_bat_accessories/newbery_hammer_edge_cricket_bat_anti-scuff_sheet/96410_p.html

£5.95 exc P&P

Maybe worth looking into a group buy as the P&P is £4.30 so if you bought 5 im sure your would recover your outlay as postage cant be that much with royal mail if other people who are looking for these buy them off of you.

Good choice - IMO there's nothing better than a Hammer Edge

Does anyone know what kookaburra armourtecs are like as you can pick them up from kick back sports for £3!

the armourtecs are really good. I have used them on many bats. IMO they are better than the hammer edge because they are totally transparent, whereas i find that the newbery ones after a few uses go translucent so you have a hazy view of the grains.

Thanks again, thought they would be good on my kooka atm. Would have gone Hammer edge otherwise!

I'm from Denmark, so it would be more expensive sending it, then it is worth :)  ~ 15£
I'm hooping a mate can buy some for me at cricketdirect, when he is going overthere at chrismas
