House fire - Lost everything
« on: July 08, 2015, 09:02:34 PM »

Hey guys,

We had a huge fire accident in our home, we are fortunate enough to have escaped it unhurt but we lost everything else. The ones I cannot recover include all pics and videos of my kids, and everything else. This taught me a very important lesson not to take anything for granted.I feel like I am the biggest idiot in the whole world, it was such a small mistake yet cost my whole life worth of memories  :-[.

SO PLEASE, MY FELLOW FORUMITES PLEASE BE SAFE AND TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED.BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!

Also lost besides all valuables is my beloved collection, around 35 bats  :( I hope I can someday have atleast part of what I lost.

Kal, really sad to hear you lost your home and unrecoverable belongings.

Good to hear that you and family are safe and here's hoping that you recover and make many more memories with the family.

Wow...makes all of life's other troubles seem irrelevant when you read something like this.  Best wishes to you and your family

Sad to hear about this tragic event. I'm glad you and your family are safe, nothing is more precious than a life. That's eminent whereas materialistic possessions are trivial.

Hopefully you will build everlasting memories from now on and have a blissful life.

Sorry to hear about all your losses Kal... like everyone else here.. you and your family are all safe which is the only thing that matters..

I'm sure when you're settled the bat collection can start anew even if it is small to start with..
