Bowling machine and a coach in manchester?

Hi guys,

I recently started cricket again (about 6 weeks back) after a long long time, we do have net sessions but only once per week and then one match per week, so obviously with not much practice I am unable to perform in matches. My timing is poor and am unable to play some basic cover drives and have no power in shots either. So I want to do practice on a bowling machine and if I could find a coach and a bowling machine that would be great. Might be able to catch up much quicker. Need to work on my cover drives and hook and pulls.

Any suggestions for chester or manchester area?

Try Bolton Indians Cricket Club, they'll hire a bowling machine out to you and a coach if you don't have anyone who isn't a qualified coach with you. Failing that, the indoor centre at Old Trafford will probably be more than happy to help, you even get a choice of surface there (fast, spin, mixed etc).

Ok thats great thanks I'll contact them ;) will certainly need a coach to work with. Any idea how much would they charge per hr?

When it comes to Bolton Indians i've no idea, I haven't personally been since about 2010 and it was £30 then without coaches.

Old Trafford will have prices on their website though.

Old Trafford is good, and there are also some very good coaches at Total Cricket in Ashton, which is ace and easy to get to being just off the motorway

It's £20 per hr if u hire their in-house coaches and £35 if they r not available and they have to assign u a temp coach.

As for coaching I liked it and helped me work my weak areas so overall a great experience.

Those prices r for off peak hrs so I think from 9am to 4-5pm...I went there at 11pm both the times and paid £20 per hr
