If that is 2.9 1/2, then it is one magic cleft.

With the oversized clefts you have access to, can you provide bats of this size?

If that is 2.9 1/2, then it is one magic cleft.

There's nothing magic about it other than its a waste of wood.

To get them this big and that low in weight they are dried to within an inch of their lives. He said so himself. They'll make 20 odd bats of which only 2-3 will last any kind of tour. 5-6 will break in the first net session and the rest are nursed through games with tape as he did with Barty and myself.

He knows the flaws, but he doesnt buy them! Also it's about the little dude going out with a club. The piece i have from on of the broken bats is drier than Ghandis flip flop, we are talk sub 3%... it's dust! The ball impact damage from one single delivery has created a dent in the blade 10mm deep... not good.

Yes it's massive, it's bigger than the 2012 IPL Gayle bat i have here but it's not good if you want more than 1-2 games from it and you'll need 10 plus to find two that can stand up to the punishment.

Unless you are in a position to fleece a sponsor for free kit... which you aren't... don't bother its a waste of time as they are not made to perform consistently.

Again, yes it is possible to make something like this but it's a waste of wood and time. You need a cracking bit of timber and then you need to ruin it by taking so low on moisture that it could and possibly will snap or crack first ball. This is why the consumer versions are a lot heavier and nowhere near a big.

Ssh as well cut the (No Swearing Please) down to the root.

I have seen a Warner in person which was a beermouth of a bat and agree with Marcus it is low density then overdried to get it down to the size I saw.

There are limitations and this bat is nearly it at low density and moisture content.

I guess that's what a advantage with GN who cultivate there own wood.

It is a lovely shape

It's an optical illusion his bat is huge, he's just short. The behaviours are linked to his red hair, lighted by the perfect sun and surf in Australia.

This bat is 2.14.
Warners is apparently 2.9 1/2

So I'd guess this is merely his profile in a not as dried cleft. So hopefully will last more than a net!
