What is the CHEAPEST net bat money can buy ?
« on: July 10, 2015, 04:31:24 PM »

My Red Ink Sirius X3 is going like a gun. But a little piece (10 cm length, 0.5 cm thickness or so) starting from the toe on the inside edge cracked and fell out during the last practice. I am having it glued and twined trying to make it through the remainder of the season. I will be getting the a replica of the current Red Ink for the next season. Given the tight financial situation and the low number of games (7 to be precise) left in the season I am thinking about postponing the purchase of a new Red Ink till next season. By the time I get the new Red Ink and get it match ready the season will be over.

My plan is to use the current Red Ink only during the games. So I need a cheap bat for practice. What is the cheapest decent bat that you would recommend and where do I find it ? I don't care what bat it is as long as it has a similar pickup (mid  or mid low sweet spot) and does not vibrate like hell. OnlineStockist/ProDirect/SportsDirect/SportPursuit ? I have seen a bunch of bats on these sites some for as low as $50 or so. Do you have any recommendation ?

MSR, can get them as low as £30, not bad bats at all. Got a pair for me and a mate for £80 a couple of years ago and they were actually pretty damn good.

Recently picked up a decent bat with a nice ping from cji in Bournemouth, a few different offerings available starting at around £65.
