Sponsorship for an international player
« on: July 14, 2015, 10:54:45 PM »

Hi lads,

So a really good mate of mine is one of the current scotland players and is currently playing in the world t20 qualifiers, he currently has a sponsorship with a company presently but he wants to try get a better deal with a different company instead

Is there any of the forum sponsors that would be interested in doing a deal with him? Or are there any company's I should try contact to get a new deal for him?

Also if you wonder why I am doing this on his behalf, its because he is busy with the t20 tournament and he has also given me some of his old kit for doing this so I do benefit from this!

Scott,

Have you tried Legget And Coe? They're in Edinburgh, I'm sure.
Saw the Kenyan team after work looking lost down in Stockbridge today too!

Sestran - summer job but still good fun!
No club at the moment really - no bat either!
Will need to get back playing soon though, watching the ashes makes me want to!

I'm sure that the B3 boys will sort him out or even SM?

and by sponsoring him the company will get what in return????

I'll sponsor him. He pays full price for his kit and for every sale I'll give him 25% of the funds he collects. So if he sells four sets of kit he is effectively getting his kit free and I make a small amount.

Well youll get TV exposure, i understand that there has to be something in it for a company but a small up and coming brand like yourself, wouldnt you be happy at this stage to get abit of exposure and have an international player using your kit? plus the exposure this player could give you on social media and getting your name out there.

I dont understand why they practically have to work for you...
