Woodstock or B3
« on: July 17, 2015, 10:08:00 PM »

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and am in the market for a new bat.
As I am a small man I want a size harrow and am debating between a B3 series (maybe DB1?) 3 stripe or Woodstock airstream platinum.

What do you think? Should I go for the Woodstock or the B3?

B3.
I am also short in stature, have you considered a SSH?  B3 also do bats specifically for people 5'3 to 5'5.
I'd also give Red Ink a look.

Do you want an honest answer

There is a marginal difference between all brands, they all sell duds and guns and average bats

Go for the one with th stickers you like and see if they can match your spec at a price that is acceptable to you

If not go for the alternative one.

Failing that open your imagination to the other brands available and see what they can offer

I would say it's deciding more about customer service in your case as you have already narrowed down your search. I would suggest going with B3 on the basis of the Customer Service we all have heard of.

I only have experience with B3 but would highly recommended them to anyone. Both of mine are guns!

Please give me a call and we can talk through what you would like and get your perfect bat sorted! - 0115 9770198 / david@b3cricket.com

I agree with the others regarding the Harrow - have you ever considered a shorter blade / SSH handle (mens width). The world is your oyster you can get whatever you want.

Streaky, am I right in thinking that if I were to design a bespoke bat with you, the shape would be stored on your database and from then on I can just get it repeated every time I need a replacement for the same cost as a normal one?
