Couple of Surrey pro bats....
« on: July 22, 2015, 06:31:32 PM »

Had a nose around the Surrey dressing room today.

Few bats in view.

David Balcombe

James Burke

Nothing else I could get a pic of - only other news is that Sanga's pads are tiny.

Mogul F2? I thought they only came in F4.5  ???

And James Burke needs to sort that grip out!

That front sticker looks a bit low on the GM

Was speaking to a recently retired pro of 20 years in county cricket about kit. When I asked what he was using he said "dunno what it is but it has the yellow stickers"

Pros don't care that much.

He said he selected his bats by going to the factory, waving around some unstickered bats and selecting on feel and pick up. When he received them they had yellow stickers on.

Made me laugh.
