Bats

What bat do you all have at the minute and what's the favourite bat you've used. Could do with some ideas to get a scope of what brand seems to be the best. Thanks

Got a Gray Nicolls legend. Most probably the best bat I have ever used.  :)

I had a gray-nicolls too but it ended up being a bit of a dead bat, never really opened up. Might just have been a bit of a one off, I'm definitely tempted to try them again.

Mate you must have been really unlucky to get a dud GN. Mine isn't even a gun... it's an artillery weapon! [emoji3]

I've got a Newbury GT 5 star.  Got it from Vitas about 2/3 years ago, I love it.

I think the legend will be a bit too pricey. The E41 Test looks like a bit of a weapon in the right hands.

Understand your point about the legend being too expensive. And the E41 has tempted me...

I'm using a couple at the moment and love all of them h4l devil only used it in a couple of games but definitely my favourite bat ever. GN nemesis usually for nets and midweek games well played in now plus I love the shape and style and a mongoose mmi3 for lms.

I also have a GN oblivion e41 that I'm currently knocking in as a back up to my h4l. Another nemesis coming from Jake as I couldn't resist a players bat. And a part made that I shaped last winter but haven't really knocked on at all

Stickleback 'Chomski', best bat I've ever had. 46mm edges and 2lb9oz. I did have the choice of willow though.

After spending some time reading this site it appears that the best bat is your next one.  :D

Affinity Toro, 2.10 and huge profile
1300 runs last season

Almost an unfair advantage!

I've had the following:

Hunts County Mettle
Woodworm Wand
Woodworm Torch
Woodworm Flame
Woodworm Satellite
Kookaburra Biggest Kahuna
Hell4Leather Hellfire G1 Monster
Hell4Leather Tempo G2

Best performing is between the H4L, the Kook and the Flame all absolute weapons! Shame I'm rubbish really else they could have caused some serious damage  :-[
