We will not be stocking the Blade range, but the others like my favourite the Ghost as well as the new Kahuna, Verve, Ignite and Onyx ranges are all online.

Anyone wanting to place a pre-order may do so and will not be charged until the order is ready for dispatch. We will also offer our knocking in service for free to CBF members. We will be picking out our bats as soon as we get the all clear from Kookaburra on the bats being available at thier warehouse.

So I've just got my hands on the Kook Onyx 700 softs - have to say I'm surprisingly disappointed. For the supposed 2nd grade of their softs, I can't help but think they should be better? The actual quality of the gloves/pads is what I expected from dirt cheap gear to be honest. There's barely any flex in the gloves at all, the pads feel cheap and they're not exactly comfortable either.

Is it just me? (It may be that my vision is a bit rose-tinted after 3 years of my own softs tbf...)

Kookaburra's softs are going downhill rapidly.  For the 2nd grade I'd expect 3 piece side bar protection on the bottom hand, but now they only offer one piece.  Instinct 800 i think it was felt horrendous!  The best gloves I used from them were the R900s from a couple years back.  Using the Verve 1000s now but if they don't bring out a decent pair of sausage gloves for 2017 I'll use a different brand.

I've gone for Gray Nics softs this season after using Kook softs for the last 5 years or so. Just don't think the standards are as good and for the same money you can get so much more quality if you look elsewhere. I did like the look of the Blade gloves but the rest of the range didn't strike me as being too great.

Glad it's not just me, safe to say they're heading back for a refund - I'm amazed some retailers would even stock them in their current state (Kudos to the ones that don't!)

I think you've had to buy the top end Kook softs for the past 3-4 years to get decent quality - anything below looks extremely disappointing...

I thought the top of the their line is decent but i was wrong. Comparing a 2011 and 2015 kahuna 1000 gloves, the recent model is a very poor quality product.

And the kook stuff looks very average compared
To other brands like grays and gm

Has anyone noticed the gloves which Butler is using ? They are full split finger players version of Kook Verve. 2016 product offering is very different to that one ... Retailers any idea ??
