Jakeus (or anyone!) - the blurb on faceplant says 'shorter blade'. Is this a shorter blade, longer handle style bat, like the Uzi?

Hi Brucie, good spot, i hadn't realised this (unless Matt told me and i forgot!)

Yes it is a slightly shorter blade and therefore slightly longer handle to create a bat that is Short Handle size overall.

Sold the G1 to a lucky young lad this morning @Alvaro

Yes they have a half inch shorter blade . Start at 2.9 upwards ,however could do a 2.8 if wanted

Is this going to be for all of them? There isn't a long blade possibility?

What's the thinking behind the shorter blade, that you get more wood in the hitting area for the weight?

We can do a long blade and long handle option.
With the shorter blade we can make larger profile but keep weight down. The counter balanced handle helps with the pickup.
Junior bats will also be available!

Just noticed how ridiculously large the top of the handle is!!


Rules me out of one as I hold the bat up there and need it same as rest of handle!
