Rehandling SS bat
« on: August 30, 2015, 10:36:52 PM »

Hi mates,

Please recommend a good cheap bat refurbisher who can change the handles on 4 bats. Price wise should be reasonable as it will cost me fortune to ship bats from Finland and back. A friend got handle replaced from GN a couple years back for 25£ but i dont know what are prices for GN these days so if some one would chime in with their experience.
Thanks

Gray Nicolls will charge £34.99 for just a re-handle, £52.99 for a re-handle and refurb or £57.99 for re-handle, weight adjustment and refurb.
Not sure what the shipping costs would be overseas though

GN have a few handles:

Select - Normal Cane handle
Vector 8 - The hexagonal handle
XRD - Shock absorbing XRD foam under the handle

yes; but am confused to what does GN mean by "pro" handle shape?
their service list states they offer "oval", "round" & "pro" http://www.grays-int.com/Data-db1/B2Cdata/InfoPanel/CKT/BatRepair/full-service-price-list-2014-2015.pdf
