Kookaburra 2016 Equipment
« on: September 05, 2015, 01:37:31 PM »

Had a visit from our Kookaburra rep yesterday and went through the range which looked and felt pretty good, all bats have new graphics. We have been told not to publish any photos until Kookaburra launches the range at Lord's show. Looking forward to visit kookaburra to hand pick our bats when they receive their full 2016 stock. Soon we will be taking pre orders for cricket equipment from all the manufacturers we deal with

Are you allowed to give any information on the bat shapes?

Keep the Verve and Kahuna and blood two new ranges perhaps.  That being said the Cadejo and Instinct are only a season old and both satisfy the heavy/light ends of the spectrum.  Personally, I would love to see the return of the Ridgeback but I don't think they will bring it back.  In any case,  I have been pleasantly surprised to see Kookaburra produce four different shapes instead of falling back on the mid-middle concaved stock shapes as they have done in previous years.

Gray nicholls have reproduced some old classics with the old stickers, powerspot, scoop, ultimate. I know kooka had retro stickers for their bubble available, maybe they'll look at bringing back the ridgeback, supreme or others back.

YES  :D I would pay top dollar for a bat with the original Beast graphics, always wanted one as a kid but couldn't afford it  :( add it to the retro range!
