Tales From The GOPRO!
« on: September 06, 2015, 08:20:52 AM »

Purchased a GoPro used it yesterday in league game.

Caused  a bit of drama with the umpires not sold on the idea but they cant stop me unless there are juniors present then i would need consent.

Here is some highlights before batteries Died.

The quality is excellent! Is it one of the new ones with the screen on the back? I've got a Hero 3

no screen on this one mate.

Its a Gopro Hero4 Black Edition. The silver one has a screen i went for black as i want 120fps for slowmo.

that was recorded in 720p will do 1080p today!

need a battery expansion tho and a 64gb card instead of 32. to get more than an hour in

Very common misconception, you do not need consent to take a photo of somebody in a public place in the UK. They can ask you to not take a photograph/video but they have no legal right to stop you taking a photo. Of course its always best to get consent but you do not legally have to!

I'd check upon your league rules.

Ours have a clear rule that says any junior present at the age of u19 and you need there parents/guardians permission to take photos/videos at the game.

Good footage simmo. Watched it a Facebook earlier. What helmet you wear and how did you attach it??

Ah excellent watch Simdog - really enjoyed watching someone elses league standard, ground, fielding etc.

I noticed that the oppo all seemed to be using the same two bats!

I like the left arm spinner, nice flight.

The second batsman looked absolutely clueless against the baldy bowler.

Excellent stuff!

Are you going up early Simdog? Looks like you are moving upwards just before the bowler has bowled and not moving up with the bounce/length of the delivery.

Given you hadn't kept in a while and some of the bowling was s**t I think you can be excused!

Mate - I was knackered last night! My thighs were tired from all that activity down leg side!

Anyway, it's only a matter of time before it's common to record matches. How much did the GoPro set you back Sims?

I thought all the batsmen had blindfolds on
