Although I wasn't planning on taking a break, I have actually quite enjoyed having a season off although I have missed the general banter and social side of cricket.

I think I will be back next season but haven't really though about who I am going to play for. I know you guys have a very competent keeper already though!

James Ward moved to Oughtibridge and played 4 games batting twice with an average of 0! After that I didn't see his name pop up again on any scorecards.

We have two competent keepers fighting for 1st xi spot. So yeah good point. 2nds could do with a decent stumper but not sure weather you want to play in div 2 or back in one.

We played outibridge twice last year. Didn't see him. He's a good talent. Shame if he's just given up.

Yeah, he played a couple of ok knocks but was found wanting a bit really. Was too 1 dimensional and based his game on putting the bad ball away. Unfortunately, as Simmy will tell you at that level you just don't get bad balls. Too many times he was on 20 from 20 overs and then got out which didn't help the team in any way, you have to either kick on or bat through if you are going to do that.

Not really sure what I'm doing to do yet, my other option is to take up bowling spin properly and keep if required but who knows!

Simmy - If you play with the 1st then I will definitely have stood in a couple of your games this year - Whitley Hall and Conisborough??

Kieron - I had a couple of your 1st XI games this year too

Purchased a GoPro used it yesterday in league game.

Caused  a bit of drama with the umpires not sold on the idea but they cant stop me unless there are juniors present then i would need consent.

Here is some highlights before batteries Died.

Need to get expansion pack

clearly the ONLY reason they got out for less than 100 was the fact that the team batting first seemed to have a shockingly poor "bats per player in the team" ratio of 2:11, as opposed to the more acceptable 5:1

The team you're on about finished second in our league and won the Yorkshire council playoff final as well. The opener (at least) will be using a B3 next year ;)

Foster is just a machine with bat and ball.

They say probably the best player to have never actually played county cricket?
