Bat Dilemma
« on: September 08, 2015, 09:15:07 AM »

Some months ago I sent my Thruxton five star (bought end of last season for £100)  into Newbery to have a look as it was quite frankly bit of a blank.  Newbery agreed and put it in for a refurb in the hope it might perk it up a bit. After a number of months it appears that it has somehow got lost, and the nice people at Newbery offered to provide me with any bat replacement free of charge.  My dilemma is that in the mean time I have purchased a rather fine Aldred Spectre butterfly one which I love, so was thinking the sensible thing was to put the new bat on fleabay, which would more than cover the cost of the Spectre, however a new Kudos2 sps arrived this morning  -  it's a thing of beauty and I really don't think I can part with it, and I certainly cant part with the spectre even though to be honest my abilities wont do either bats justice.  Anybody have any advice on places to hide cricket bats from the good lady wife? :D

I can think of places such as
1) Garage
2) In your bed's cabin.
3) In your friend's home
4) In your car's boot.
5) Say you won the bat in a competition .

On a serious note, please do treat us with pics of the Kudos.

Keep it. A Kudos2 with its revolutionary pressing? Also, don't hide it if it was essentially free.

And PICS :)

What a dilemma, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Unfortunately I'm busy worrying whether all my ferraris are the right colour for my new mansion.

Could you re-sticker one to look like the other? Then, as long as they arent spotted together, you could pass them off as one? I'm not usually a fan of re-stickering but desperate times.......

I think I had 5 "Neon" bats at one stage, it was much easier to lie than explain why I had so many different ones.

I currently have 3 GNs, so as long as I leave them so you can only see the front I shouldn't have too much explaining to do  :-[
