I'm sure that New Balance B3 will have the skill to be able to copy Root's current bat?

I'm sure that the bat will be made using a very similar, if not identical process - meaning an exact copy will be made and every one produced after that will be exactly the same!  ;)

Same process but completely different machines but his new maker should be able to do it

Without giving too much away, expect an October 1st announcement from a leading footwear brand. He will always be in beta - let's just say that!

I expect B3 will make the bats with the CNC machine, that would be my guess.

I'm sure if anyone can then B3 New Balance will be able to do a sterling job of replicating a Gunn & Moore due to 2/3 owners having worked at GM in the past!

I'm sure he always liked using non-GM bats more anyway.

Conspiracy Theory Time ....

Root wasn't rested, his GM contract ran out and his new one didn't start and he didn't want to use a plain bat so he took a leave of absence :):):)

Gunn & Moore have announced that they are parting company with Joe Root as at the end of September 2015.

Not the end of September yet, so the press release blows that one out of the water  ;)

Or maybe that was part of the cover up?

They have been paid to say that ???

The same guy that told me they fell out over helmets, say he's been rested as his back is absolutely shot and he's struggling to walk never mind play!
Hence no root in the semi final for Yorkshire, when other England guys were available.

This is all a bit different to the last time a high profile England GM user moved on:

Haha, the difference between that article and the Root one is brilliant. Anyone who thinks GM are happy with him leaving is clearly deluded - the amount of Six6 bats you see juniors using says it all. Massive signing for NB if it is indeed them.

I don’t think you can blame Joe for moving, as it has been previously said on this thread his career is finite and sums of money are vast. I think this is the same in any professional sport. Also, I think anybody reading this would find it hard not to follow the money.
If Joe was leaving B3 at this time, I would be absolutely gutted but would hope that I had the dignity to wish him well in his future endeavours, as Edward has done.
As for who he is moving too……

Instead you might end up making a couple of his New Bats...
