Following on from Cam's interesting thread about your favourite 'big brands', how about a few comments on favourite kit that you don't own, and if any, the reasons why.

For instance, I seriously want a pair of those Leopard-skin SM batting gloves. I still want a Malik Sher (old-time favourite) and I have a secret crush on those brightly coloured Horse-cricket rubbers!!

Jealous of anyone that gets to play white balls cricket! Would love a coloured set of pads and glove, and the ability to go with a super super lairy pair of shoes with them!

But alas I only play red ball so no use.

Back in the day (about 25 years ago) I almost bought a Kippax. I don't know the exact model - could have been a colossus or some such, but it was a big bat, like bats used to be. No bow or concaving, no big edges, just big. It had the old school green and red K sticker on it. Opportunity missed...

I love the new Masuri helmets used in the Big Bash, nice and bright with a black peak and rim (Pink Sydney Sixers one especially). Was tempted doing a custom Masuri but I couldn't justify the cost!

As @Buzz said, pro GM pads in coloured. Emailed @Edward Lowy to try my luck but it was futile.

Apart from that B3 1271 and Gray Nicolls David Warner.

Other favourite kit that I don't own is some of Fattus's bats - he has a disturbingly good eye.
