i went to Barringtons two years ago and wont be going there again. All the bats are stored in a dry warehouse meaning they break very quickly. The bats are also rather overpriced there too

Good to know, I've only been on the website, makes me feel even better about my Red Ink arriving this week :)

I can second your comment regarding their bat storage and pricing. They aren't too bad for softs though if you wait for them to put on a decent sale.

So what would be more recommended

Going to a shop and feeling the weight and ping of bats

Or ordering the exact bat you want online without feeling what the bat is like

Go into a shop and feel the wieght hold the bat with your top hand with batting gloves on and if possible give it a swing then when you find one thats  suitable have  one made by a batmaker on here made to the same specification.

Whenever I've been on Barrington's website to compare prices they always appear to be the dearest out of the lot, the only thing I've ordreed off them was the 2014 England ODI shirt when it was on sale.
