Boundary Rope
« on: September 22, 2015, 01:42:42 PM »

I have looked at all of the online retailers for cricket ground equipment and it all seems fairly pricey (relatively) for boundary rope.  As this is just normal rope, is there anywhere that comes to mind where you may be able to get it cheaper?  I'm thinking boating supply companies etc.  Any ideas?

It's pricey for sure, we bought some to rope off our sightscreens and it cost a small fortune! Literally money for old rope. You could always shoot down to Tilbury and cut a few tankers adrift  ;)

Best bet is to just get bog standard rope, retailers charge a fortune for 'cricket' rope. I've got my club to finally buy one and it's a 'used' one that another club had got and then couldn't be bothered to use. Saved about half the price luckily

I had an email from durant cricket today about their 2015 sale, one thing on there was boundary rope but didn't give prices but said to call for prices

We got our rope from eBay was half the price of what the cricket specialist sold it for well worth a look
