SS profiles question
« on: September 24, 2015, 08:34:29 AM »

Hoping some one  can answer this question.
Are all the SS/Ton bat the same profile?  from what I can tell It appears the bats only differ in willow grade and stickers. And they sure have a huge range.

cheers

I'm afraid buy Palmist here is right. From Master 1000s to the Gladiators - you'll find both full & concave profiles with exactly the same sweet spot position.
SS is also known for its mid grades here.
So basically you'll find consistencies & inconsistencies but both at the wrong places !!

You can get some really good low grade bats with full profiles, you just need to shop around and ask retailers.

Yep,
I recently picked one from Ebay.
Sold as Grade 2 English Willow, that looks quite lush, evenly spaced 7 grains, full profile, 38 mm edges in 2 lbs 8 Oz.

for pics, check ebay item # 111745341358
