Hi guys. My first post regarding a bat on this forum. :) Today I visited Tony at Hunts County after school (and the horror of double science) to get a custom bat made - my first one. I went there and as I am only 13 wanting a short handle, Tony picked out some very low density and light massive clefts to choose from. I normally would go for looks but the performance was so good I couldn't turn it down. I wanted the bat weighing around 2.6 - 2.7 and it finished at 2.7 but picked up more like a 2.5. Tony mentioned, because it was such a big bat for the weight, it will perform very well but may not last as long. Doesn't really matter when your only paying £185!

The bat itself finished with 37mm edges and (I think) around a 63-64mm spine. The spine runs down all the way through under my specific request but picks up really well. It's got a bit of an offset edges to make the middle even bigger. No concaving, oval handle and a flat face. Its not the prettiest pieces of wood but it is an absolute artillery weapon for the weight! Finished with Insignia stickers slapped on and a plain black scale grip to finish.

This one looks cracking great shape and size.


But mine was poor, what arrived was not quite the shape I wanted, 3oz too light and damaged. The later meant I was happy to take a refund instead of a remake.

That is a lovely shape! I hope you smash plenty of bowlers with it! The stickers look really good, doubt many 13 year olds will be using retro stickered hunts bats! Definitely not a follower, good stuff
