My 2016 season willow
« on: September 26, 2015, 07:27:39 PM »

Hi guys, so I'm sorted nice and early this year with 2016 seasons willow

First up is my brand new B&S Elite Pro, this up is a unique profile as Garry had TK create this as a demo for next season, full spine all the way into the toe, thick edge at shoulder and toe. 2.10 and a stunner with clean straight grains taps up very well good pick up and matches the softs bundle so 2016 match kit sorted

Secondly is a M&H 09 or Amplus as well known, sourced via a local forum member having a little clear out, just a gun middle is so long and really flys, finishng on them is poor but performance is superb, pick up currently is average I would say. 2.9 but feels heavier so I reckon that was naked weight, a little refurb and this should reduce and oz or so in weight and a change in grip set up will be perfect

Finally is something I have always wanted, Laver & Wood Reserve, special profile with Carbo cane handle, this in the hands feels amazing, taps up an old and new ball with a lovely sound, 2.9 and again feels perfect with lovely tight even grains, so good I may have enquired about another one  :D

A few pics

Explains who bought them off eBay! ☺️ All look great sticks and I'm sure will be difficult to select from! Be interested to see B&S's 2016 offerings

Nope I have these 3 as my match bat options and a GM aura 808 plus a kook verve 600 that I have kept from this year so that all I need and I'm sure I will only use 1 bat all next season, the remainder will get the odd net time

M&h bats are at least 2 ounces lighter than quoted as they weigh them without grips and stickers

Lovely looking bats mate. I bet you a pint you buy at least one more bat before a ball is bowled in the 2016 season though! :-)

I thought you were only having one bat? You'll have a dozen net bats before you know it!  ;)

I have 1 more ordered which I'm waiting on but after that these will be my only bats with the GM aura and Kook verve as my T20 bat as the hunts T20 balls we use are quite hard and not great quality in my view

Not surprised with the other bat on order mate. What is it or are you waiting on a big reveal once it arrives?
