Might be getting Ali and Bell back in later for another bat

Yes, Root retired. Buttler's form is really starting to concern me. No doubting his prodigious talent but Bairstow's keeping has come on leaps and bounds since working with French and he is scoring runs reasonably consistently. Though I might be being unjustifiably harsh it was an ashes series, always difficult to score runs.

Feels good to have the cricket back on, gives me a break from chasing the oval ball.

Rashid is doing Ali's job rather well, then.

Cook 50 and out, root Bairstow and rashid with unbeaten 50s. (Go Yorkshire)

Is less than 300 enough in a day against an A side??

Junaid Khan (he conceded less than 2 an over) is not really an A side bowler though. Most touring sides struggle with new conditions, so this isn't too bad.

Still think Yasir Shah is the most underrated bowler on the planet, and is going to really test the Eng batters once the series starts.

I play with mainly Pakistani guys, that's all ive been hearing about for the last month. He's def quality.

I think us England fans are anticipating trial by spin which undid us last time-this series will prob be the same.
I think we will do better this time round, but unless we are comfortable against spin it cold be 0-3 again!
