Bell is slowly fading for England isn't he... How long does he have left/will he keep going?

Ian Bell, the Frank Lampard of English cricket. Does bugger all for 6 months or so and then...

Scores a lovely 30yard screamer and saves/wins the game
Gets a well grafted and aesthetically pleasing 50/80ish

Selectors give them another 10 caps....

ive been a Bell fan for ages, there's not many better to watch and he has scored runs for us in the past. However.....there are players banging the door down who are younger and more likely to improve, Bell is not going to get any better. It's a bit sad but it happens to all batters at some point, test.club, county, it don't matter.....

I presume England last summer, choose between Bell and Ballance..I know there's loads on here that don't rate Ballance but for me he could be our number 3 going forward in Tests. I still think he can do it and come again.

So...when the middle order is so crowded-maybe Ballance, Taylor and Bairstow, chuck in Alex Hales and you have to score runs.

Bell has been given plenty of backing but time is coming to an end. It's really as simple as someone else deserves a chance for England.

Taylor is going to be given a chance i'm sure, I think England will drop Bell after this test.

Pakistan have had something like 12 reviews in this series and got 11 of them wrong... surprised they dont take the indian perspective and refuse to use it.....

Don't wanna jinx him but Root is motoring along in imperious fashion as usual. He's some player.

No hotspot/snicko won't help, plus I think the umpiring decisions have mostly been very good in fairness. Wonder what the numbers are for England?

from what ive seen england havnt reviewed as much but hav ebeen successful when they have.
i agree the umpiring has been very good so far except for bad light but then its the rules governing them.
i like the look of the ultra edge sky sports have for analysis use only also and its the same company as hotspot so might reduce cost in future series.
