DRS making a farce of the game...again. And when did playing and missing mean you were caught at slip?

Sorry broad was caught then, makes a bit of a mockery as you can clearly see ball hit short leg boot and the popped straight up

I disagree.

One frame it's going down next frame it's on it's way back up before its hit the boot.

If it hit his boot flush where it hit it, ball would ricochet in a different direction. It carries on up and in the direction it does as it glances the boot.

Doesn't matter Anderson gone and none added.

Can't give up a lead of 136 on a pitch like this. Fair to say no way back for England in this game.

I thought it was out too, problem was the initial contact with the boot was between frames on the slo-mo so it looks likes it hit the boot on the way up suggesting it hit the turf. My issues with DRS is the time it takes. There's be too DRS decisions in the last 20 minutes in which an overs could have been bowled each time. Over rates are bad enough... Not too mention both decisions seem wrong to me

England need to jettison Bell and Buttler for the third Test. Bell's passed it, not that he was ever that special to start with, and Taylor is being wasted carrying the water. Buttler was never a Test player. A filthy slogger no more.

Might as well, they've got nothing to lose! Could even bat Ali at 5 and Bairstow at 7 if they wanted to as well. Looks a balanced side to me.

Also...what on earth compelled Mark Wood to ask for a review after the 3rd ump had already ruled him out??

From what I can tell the third umpire was instructed to check the bump ball and not the edge. Wood evidently felt he didn't edge it so then proceeded to review the edge.
