Seems there's a decent amount on here from Bristol and the surroundings, do people fancy having a forum net someplace over the winter?

Any suggestions on venue? County ground is the obvious one, but lacking on runup. Merchant's Academy? Hoping there's some great net facility that I don't know about...

Arrrr where's it to then  ;)

I'd be keen for Bristol personally, Taunton's a bit of a trek for a net. Depends where everyone is I suppose!

Down's School in Wraxhall have decent nets as Spoonbed and I can confirm;

Also, Colston's in Stapleton have a decent indoor hall, just don't smash the glass in the fire escape doors two balls in a row...they didn't like that.

ApparentY its £10 an hour at the county ground on a Thursday. Extra fiver for a bowling machine

Unfortunately I've broken my leg, no netting for me! Would still be keen to get this going early next year though.

Ha! No, completely unrelated trampoline injury - was down to be playing but obviously had to drop out. Cheers mate, 6 weeks of daytime TV beckons. Thank goodness there's a test series on.

OK, I have two functional legs again and was reminded of this by another topic.

Suggestion: a net at either the Gloucestershire ground or Merchants Academy in Withywood. Would prefer Glos personally. Weekend of the 16th/17th Jan works for me? Thoughts/who's keen?
