Too rough up there for me Tom and it would've spoiled my Horlicks.

Yep cheers to the two of you Somerset boys for making the drive up from the sticks! Good to get a net in, agree we'll have to do it again for sure.

Haha you'd be ok north of the river, all hipsters and students that part of town!

Some decent pubs within a 5 min walk of the county ground tho if it's a bit earlier next time 👍

Thanks for organising Ed and I hope the ankle isn't to sore.
We will have to do another with you in attendance Tom and you can keep us out of trouble in the boozer.

Well that was fun! Great to put some names to faces and check out some tasty willow - think my ricochet is destined for the club bag though, middle feels as big as a 2p piece!

I'm up for doing it again whenever. Weston may be a good shout distance wise but I'm not sure what's around regarding facilities.

Great to meet you all, and next time I'll pick you up in the way through @mcgill123

I think you are doing yourself a disservice with regards to finding the middle mate.
Weston does seem like a good idea but I'm not sure about venues, should be able to find somewhere though.

Alright then, nets and a beer? Earlier in the evening to allow for beer after and to make it easier to find a free slot with it being in more demand now clubs have started their preseason?

First or second weekend in March would be my suggestion, who's keen? Open to alternative venue suggestions to make it easier for the zummerzet contingent or doing the same again if you're happy. @spoonbed @mcgill123 @Ayrtek @jamesisapayne @thecord @d7bow @jwebber86 @frooper11

Sounds great Ed, I'm happy to come up to Brizoo again if any of the others want to join in. I can pick anyone up on the way through and may have a friend who's probably interested in joining us and loves his willow. If there's a fair few of us could we book the net for 2 hours so we get a decent amount of batting time? Don't fancy a 2 hour round trip for 7-8 minutes  ;)

I'm not sure if James is going to be around, thought I read somewhere he's moving to Worcester?

Yeah definitely agree on the time, either book two hours or two nets if there's enough of us. I've got a mate from my club who's keen to join too, hopefully the numbers will be good.

Assumed he won't be but thought I'd tag him anyway just in case!

Yep, sounds like a plan. I'm can probably get a pass for anytime to suit.
2 hours/ 2 nets would be great
